The number of pastors giving serious consideration to quitting full-time ministry is on the rise.

Barna Group reports two out of every five pastors have seriously thought of leaving full-time ministry. Overwhelming stress, political division, and isolation are the leading factors. (Barna Group, March 2022)

Pastor Getaway - a safe space between sabbath and sabbatical.

We don’t need statistics to justify a quick getaway. We all know the power of slowing down for a few days. Jesus often withdrew to a quiet place and His example, along with our love for pastors and understanding of their world, is the heart behind our free Nashville getaways. We invite pastors and their spouses to just come and “be.” Designed to provide a quiet and restorative pause, Pastor Getaways take place in a peaceful setting, with kind and discerning hosts. No complicated program. No agenda to follow. No other pastor couples to interact with. Space as you need it, or time with caring hosts, if that is what you desire.

Read on to see if a Teamness Pastor Getaway is a good fit for you.

Come be guests of Teamness, free of charge, in our 30 foot, luxury camper on our hobby farm just outside Nashville, Tennessee. “This is an unbelievably unique retreat space for pastors and their spouses. We rested, played with the animals, had great conversations, walked around enjoying the beautiful garden space, and we had a lovely time together. We highly recommend this place of quiet rest to all.”

“"We had SUCH a great time visiting with Evan and Debbie (and the goats!). We really couldn’t thank you guys enough, it was a much needed break from our day-to-day and allowed us some time to reflect not only on God’s goodness and blessings, but our marriage and future aspirations (where God wants us and when) as well."

— Pamela and Dave

Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Naperville, IL

“The quietness and the fellowship time with the hosts was our favorite part of the experience. Evan and Debbie were very thoughtful of our need for alone time, but were available when we wanted fellowship time.”
